中文摘要:针对换流站电容器塔因鸟害引发的保护频繁误动问题,提出一种计及鸟害影响的不平衡保护改进策略。基于对鸟害影响下传统不平衡保护失灵原因的分析以及对鸟害故障机理的探索,在传统保护方法中引入了关键的故障判别阈值,从而有效区分鸟害与内部故障。仿真验证表明,所提策略可显著降低保护误动次数,提升电容器塔运行的可靠性与稳定性。

Improvement Strategy for the Filter Capacitor Tower Unbalance Protection Considering the Effect of Bird Damages
Abstract:A novel improved unbalance protection strategy accounting for bird-related faults is proposed in this paper to address the issue of frequent protection maloperations caused by bird damage in capacitor banks within converter stations. Based on an analysis of the failure mechanisms of conventional protection under bird influence and an investigation into the characteristics of bird-induced faults, a key fault discrimination threshold is introduced into the traditional protection method to effectively distinguish between bird-related faults and internal capacitor failures. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed strategy significantly reduces the number of protection maloperations and enhances the operational reliability and stability of the capacitor banks.
